2005: Sharing Knowledge and Solutions

The Society for Technical Communication (STC), Atlanta
Chapter is pleased to announce the Currents 2005 conference:
"Sharing Knowledge and Solutions" on February 25-26, 2005 at
Mercer University, Atlanta, Georgia campus. The conference is in
the Business and Education Academic building (building 4 on
map).
Currents 2005 is open to any technical communication
professional regardless of skill level or position. We also
invite other professionals who are interested in the technical
communication field. Join us to expand your skills, network with
other professionals, and have fun with friends.
This two-day conference includes:
- Four half-day workshops
presented by Saul Carliner and Rebecca Edgarton
- 18+ information-packed sessions,
featuring keynote speaker Judy
Glick-Smith
- Industry leading vendor exhibits, on-site technical
bookstore, door prizes, and much
more

Technical Bookstore
BreakPoint Books, the bookstore used at the STC
International conferences, will be on site at the conference
Saturday, February 26. There will be technical
communication-related books covering a wide range of topics,
including those relating to many of the conference
presentations.
Check In
Check in for the workshop and the conference will be held on
the first floor of the Business/Education Academic Building
(Building I on the
Atlanta campus map). Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. on Friday and
8:30 on Saturday with a continental breakfast.
