With 30 years of experience handling technical and marketing communications in manufacturing industries, information technologies, regulatory agencies, educational institutions, and as an independent consultant, Thea Teich brings to the table communication expertise along with knowledge of customer needs and an understanding of how the industry works.

Her educational background includes an MBA in finance from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH; an MS in communications (agricultural journalism) along with science teaching certification from the University of Wisconsin, and a BS in cellular biology and zoology from the University of Michigan.

Thea is currently STC President and has served on the board as 1st and 2nd vice president and as director-sponsor for Region 4.
