About Ben Woelk, CISSP, CPTC
Ben Woelk is the Program Manager, Information Security Office at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and Adjunct Professor at RIT, where he teaches courses for the Department of Computing Security, the Golisano College of Computer and Information Sciences (an Academic Center for Excellence in Information Assurance), Technical Writing and Editing, School of Individualized Study. Ben is also an Introverted Leadership Mentor, Coach, and Speaker, where he’s building an Introverted Leadership virtual community and mentoring practice to help introverts identify and actualize their strengths and become outstanding leaders.
Ben is the Current VP and Past President, Rochester Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication. He’s the Chair of the Scholarship Committee and Former Director, Society for Technical Communication.
Ben is currently a candidate for Vice President, Society for Technical Communication (Voting between Feb 26 and March 9th).
